Villa Berti
Berti is a striking house, perched at the top of the hill with breathtaking views of the Cecina River Valley. Respectful of tradition, the house was built using materials of the highest quality. Its architecture is stylistically reminiscent of the classical, Tuscan, rectangular farmhouse with sloping red tile roof. The exterior is natural stone. Inside, the ground floor is finished with traditional Tuscan brick flooring while the first floor is finished with wood flooring. Berti is located in the picturesque, medieval town of Montescudaio, named one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy. Recognized for its artistic and historical significance, Montescudaio exhibits many desirable qualities: functional urban planning, architectural harmony, livability, private and public prosperity, and public services. Ten kilometers from the sea, Montescudaio has excellent connections to Pisa, Volterra, Bolegheri, and Cecina. Many famous wines are produced in the region. Among the architectural monuments worthy of note are the St. Andrew's Church from 1416 and the Annunciation Oratory from 1450.
